My art process is both thoughtful and intuitive, passionate and meditative. My subject consists of shapes, lines, and colors emerging as forms and symbols to express the mythical, sensual, spiritual, provocative, and playful unfoldment of being. By allowing the authentic quality of the media to work through me, the process is present in the strokes as the motion continues to breathe, engaging the viewer into the visceral act of painting and drawing.....an act of the dreaming divine.
My design process is equally inspired by the visionary matrix that unfolds through me, drawing from the ancient relics of the past into the modern frequencies of the future. Often it is the materials themselves that inspire me as I engage with them. I work with the natural elements of the earth including gemstones, leather, hemp, raw metals and vintage brass to create timeless, authentic, well-made pieces that will activate your native elementâ„¢ and become more beautiful and interesting over time.
